At Anointed for Life, our team believes unequivocally that the knowledge, skills, abilities, and insights God has endowed us with are intended each day to bring life to those with whom we come in contact and to whom we are sent to support and develop. Through our provision of personal care training and career coaching, our role is not to compete with existing services, organizations, and groups but to collaborate and partner with individuals, families and organizations to increase and improve quality of life including and particularly those who are underserved, underrepresented, and under-resourced. Our Team




Karen Spight Personal Care Trainer ​As a co-founder of Anointed for Life, I am dedicated to teach, train and equip personal care assistants (PCA) on how to give quality and professional personal care to their clients. I have trained hundreds of PCAs of different cultures and ages as well as a wide range of client caregivers over the last 14 years. I have worked in the healthcare field for 43 years. That service included working in nursing homes, group homes (team lead for two years), assisted living facilities, private duty and for 14 years as one of three owners of a skilled home healthcare business that was Medicaid and Waiver licensed. I am a certified trainer through the Indiana Home and Hospice Foundation in Homemaker and Personal Care Attendant I & ll. I enjoy reading, decorating and am an active member in my church.
Damon Spight Career Coach ​As a co-founder of Anointed for Life, I am an experienced professional degreed in human resource management; certified as a career management coach; dedicated to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging; and attainer of a graduate certificate in public management. Over the past 14 years I have worked in higher education with the benefit of working closely with colleagues of a broad range of classifications, indcluding senior administrators and those holding entry-level positions. My professional brand statement is "developing lives, changing cultures, one career at a time. My life purpose metaphor is "to be a tool bag that helps build a better tomorrow for the people who enter my shop." I enjoy life-long learning, professional development, reading, jazz, pool, chess, and men's ministry work.
